The angel is truly a very special one: for the first time in its more than 100-year history, it has eleven differently colored wing dots on its green wings instead of the eleven white dots. With this color variation, W&K has integrated a central design element of the foundation as a visible sign of shared values. The angel carries a candle in his hand. Its light is intended to be a sign of hope and warmth. This special edition will be available from May 2024, the 25th year of the World Childhood Foundation's existence, in a limited edition of 25,000 pieces. The number can be seen on the bottom stamp of the figurine, as well as in the accompanying booklet and on its green decorative box.
